WELCOME TO THE SVG EUROPE WELLBEING FUND APPLICATION PAGE<\/h3>\n

SVG Europe has launched the Wellbeing Fund, a new initiative that will provide financial aid for people working in European sports broadcasting and production who require mental health support, therapy or counselling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The Fund, underwritten by Sony Professional Solutions Europe, will provide up to \u20ac400 per person towards the cost of psychological wellbeing services.<\/p>\n

To apply for funding, applicants will need to go through a three-step process.<\/p>\n

  1. Find a qualified mental health professional using the website for EuroPsy (or European Certificate in Psychology), a European standard of education, professional training and competence in psychology set by the European Federation of Psychologists\u2019 Associations<\/a>. There is a register of EuroPsy psychologists with national listings of certificate holders that can be consulted by any person or organisation seeking the services of a qualified psychologist and the registry can be accessed here https:\/\/www.europsy.eu\/search-psychologist<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Schedule your appointment as necessary and fill out an online application form<\/a> that can be accessed above. Applicants will need to provide the name and contact information of a co-worker or supervisor who can verify your position in the industry.<\/li>\n
  3. Once the application has been received, a representative from the Wellbeing Fund will be in touch to arrange for reimbursement of up to \u20ac400 worth of visits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note the applicant’s name and identity will remain private throughout the process and personal information will only be made available to the person on the Wellbeing Fund team who receives the application and the Fund manager who will contact the applicant for Fund distribution processing.<\/p>\n

    In order to qualify for support:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Applicants must have worked in the sports broadcasting production industry for one year. Eligible applicants ideally would work as a freelancer for a sports channel, club\/team, federation or league, manufacturer or remote services facility provider.<\/li>\n
    • Immediate family members of those employed in the sports broadcasting field may be eligible for grants.<\/li>\n
    • Applicants must be residents within Europe. They do not need to be European citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
